She doesn’t sing like this all the time for the same reason Lady Gaga doesn’t sing with her real voice (which is incredibly good btw): Because the average music listener (and music exec) doesn’t care how good their voice is. They want someone that can put on a good show. Sure, it helps if they can sing, but they process their voices so much it no longer makes a difference if someone can or not. Not to mention Lady Gaga and Ke$ha’s tonality don’t fit the “pop” sound. It’s sad because they really are good musicians, but no one gives a shit about that, unfortunately.
